I'm a still life and portrait artist and paint in watercolor and oil. I've always been fascinated with faces and lead a drawing group at the Atlanta Artists Center where we have
a model each week. Drawings are done in charcoal and other media.
I'm an inaugural member of the Fredrix Canvas (Tara Materials) Art Advisory Board and also have served on the Board of the Atlanta Artists Center.
I love to paint ordinary objects, accessible to all, in a manner that focuses on the essence of each subject.
I've garnered many prizes for my paintings, and they have been accepted in regional and national juried competitions. I'm a graduate of Duke University where I studied art and worked at the Duke University Museum of Art.
