Welcome to my page!
I do not have a primary medium of focus; I select the medium to be used based on the subject material at hand. I work primarily in pastels and acrylics though I also enjoy working with oils, watercolors and collages. I'm also driven by working with color and abstract interpretations.
I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest which provides me with a variety of subjects ranging from the ocean to the mountains to the deserts.
I am a graduate of Oregon State University with a specialization in Interior Design and textiles. More recently, I have had the opportunity to pursue other artistic interests. Supporting these interests I have participated in workshops given by highly respected artists in acrylics, oils and pastels. My work has been accepted into numerous juried shows and is in private collections in several states. I am a member of the Pastel Society of Oregon and the Watercolor Society of Oregon.
My paintings can be seen locally at Gallery Northwest, 625 SE Jackson Street, Roseburg, OR.
