Naomi Richmond is an award winning artist, she was recently widowed, and now lives with her Miniature Poodle, Dandy Lil Man Buddy. They reside in northern California. Naomi is 63 years old and a retired middle school teacher. She taught US History, Algebra I, and Beginning Watercolors to 8th graders (the fun age).
Naomi is a self-taught artist and is part of a long line of artists, stretching from her great-great grandfather to her great-grandson. A long line that includes her parents, three sisters, three sons, several granddaughters, her grandsons and many cousins. Naomi has been drawing, doodling, and just plain creating most of her life, and has been rewarded for her efforts by winning many art competitions and by receiving many awards. 'Creating art, looking at art, feeling art just makes me happy from the inside out. I hope you enjoy viewing and owning my art as much as I enjoy creating it. :)'
