Nedra Russ

Born in the bay area of California and raised in the gold country of Amador County Nedra love's Nature and the outdoors and finds a great source of inspiration for her paintings and Digital art. Art Major with studies at Bavard College in Florida, Delta college in Stockton and at Sacramento City college. Nedra also has taken many private lessons from Artist Alice Fredrickes , Fran Mckenney, and Loe Edwards.
Nedra owned and operated her own Art Gallery in Amador City.
Nedra was raised around music from her brothers bands to singing in church and daily with her father. Nedras songs come from a place of wisdom and hard earned experience. Nedra picked up a harmonica at a early age and just has never put it down since. Studying with the worlds best Howard Levy, David Barrette ,and Joe Filisko has opened Nedras mind to the depth and the range of this small instrument . Nedra is a member of SPAH and attend the conventions to learn and grow more. A student of SLS singing,
Nedra donates time to the local youth in West Point to teach signing and performance skills and has won 2010 Teammagic award.
Standing only 4 foot 10 inches tall she surprises here audience with the large voice and dynamic harmonica people say she talks to there soul. Having a NDR in 1992 has change Nedras perception on everything. Living disabled has made daily life more difficult however creating and playing music seems to make the pain much more bearable and makes it disappear for awhile.
