About the Artist
I am an artist living on Long Island, New York. I have been painting for many years, but have dedicated my time to it seriously in the last 10 years. Although self taught, I have studied the art of painting through books, museum visits and under some very accomplished painters on Long Island, I consider myself an emerging artist who paints to satisfy his craving for beauty and harmony in this irrational world of wars and disharmony. Hopefully, others will see these characteristics in my paintings.
I am often inspired by the places my wife and I visit; much of my work is based on these trips. Viewing my landscapes and seascapes allows you to feel what it was like to be in that place at that moment. Hopefully you will be immersed in the painting and feel what I felt when I painted it.
