Nicole first discovered she had a gift for drawing at the age of 14. Bored in class one day, she picked up a pencil and started sketching, and surprised herself when the sketch looked like the subject. She has been drawing and improving her technique ever since.
She developed a love for photography when she studied it in college while pursuing a degree in commercial design. She has continued experimenting learning more about photography on her own. Although she studied using film, she now works primarily with a digital camera.
