Niels Nielsen is a psychiatrist trained at the University of Virginia, who produces fine art photographs in his spare time. His photography is unconventional and innovative, and he has a unique talent to defy established norms and create stunning images.
Melody laughed... She laughed because she was happy, or maybe because she was meant to experience life that way. But perhaps, she laughed to help her bear the pain of being a hopeful being. And there was Time, with its oftentimes tenuous unpredictability, despite its sure and steady flow towards nothingness. And because of its slowness, we thought of absurdity and of things that would amuse us and surpass all logic. Acts of defiance to reason, or an attack on Perception and its limited ability to inspire the infinity of the mind. Or perhaps it was the allure of incoherence that beckoned me to be captivated by Petrified Clouds.
