Octavio Ocampo was born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico on February 28, 1943
He studied at the 'La Esmerlda' Fine Art Institute, Mexico City (1961-1965) and the San Francisco Art Institute (1972 - 1974).
Made set designs for more than 120 Mexican and American films and set designs for plays.
Has been exhibiting since 1972, in Mexico, U.S.A., Canada, Latinamerica, Europe and Middle East.
His art work can be found in important collections such as:
