'I've always had a strong attraction to water. Although much of my earlier work leans towards soft erotica but current work is based on the 'GREAT COMMISSION' representing purification, spiritual need, & eternal life depending on the context of the finished work. I also appreciate the soft curves of the female form. Many of my pieces feature women with 'Flowing Tresses' because I view the hair as the crown and glory of a woman but most importantly it resembles waves of what is known in the biblical world as 'Living Waters'. These waters give those who believe in God eternal life. Other recurring images in my work are birds & butterflies representing sin, death, persecution, salvation, the holy spirit or the incarnation of Christ and abstract swirls & trees always signify solitude & peace.
My job is to fulfill the “Great Commission”.... through my paintings I introduce the word of God....the rest is up to the you.” ~ OHSO!
Ohso's medium of choice is primarily acrylic but she often incorporates airbrush, celluclay, pastels & watercolor. She actively exhibits & sells her work across the US & abroad.
