My name is Ottilia Zákány, I am a media teacher and painter. I was born in Hungary but I live and work in England. My work is primarily known in Hungary, through independent and joint exhibitions. My teacher and inspiration' Endre Szasz' ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endre_Szász ) the world wide well known incredible artist who shaped my art as it is now today.My professional work is quite versatile as it involves porcelain painting, applied graphics, animations, and modern acrylic painting. This technical proficiency gives me a rich experience that allows me to paint just as well on porcelain as on canvas or paper (watercolours).
ARS POETICA: I believe that it is brave to be an artist in today’s world but I like challenges and look for special themes, which I can present on different surfaces.
