In 2001 I began to fulfill a longtime desire to create Watercolors. Oblivious of the difficulty of this medium, I had my heart set on learning, and learning is as it goes with each work. I am a retired Chemistry teacher. Each watercolor is a challenge and an accomplishment. I watercolor landscapes, seascapes, flowers, animals, birds, ect. I most enjoy Plein Air. My Watercolors are described as lively, happy, possess movement, captures the subject, and inviting. The most exciting experience so far was a Watercolor class in Tuscany, Italy. (One would like to paint everything in sight. ) I belong to Huntsville Art League and Madison Art League.
