Pati was born and raised on an Iowa farm. A graduate of Blairsburg, Iowa.
All her life she has been drawing and sketching things in life. She started
painting over 30 years ago. She is self-taught but has studied under many
very great artists. She has a love for watercolor, oil, collage, pastel and pen
and ink. She loves them all!
She loves to use a lot of color in her paintings. She loves red, purple, periwinkle
blue and hot pink. She enjoys using color in her landscapes, rain scenes and
flowers.
She also enjoys interior design--especially doing decorative art on furniture and
wall borders. She taught faux painting for Decorating Dimensions in Ft Collins,
Colorado after retiring from Hewlett-Packard Company. She has a great love
for creativity and using it in all that she does in life!
She has three grown children and six grandchildren who love to learn to paint
with grandma. She lives in Loveland, Colorado with her dog Buster and in a
1926 Historical home. She moved to Colorado from Alexandria, Minnesota.
