Mary was born March 7, 1922 and died September 2, 2010. She started painting in her early 40's and never stopped until she got sick and died of pancreatitis at the age of 88. In the early 1970s she was president of the Suburban Art League in Woodbury, NY. At that time, some of her work was exhibited in Soho and Lincoln Center in New York City. She also had her art exhibited on eastern Long Island in the Hamptons and various Greenport galleries. She was a teacher of fine art and owned an art gallery called Royal Gallery of Art located in Farmingdale, New York. She also taught fine art at SUNY Farmingdale College in New York. Her collection is extremely versatile and consists of approximately 700 original paintings created using various mediums.
