Patti Jo is a member of the “Artist Ride Assosiation“, and is an official licensed artist for Emmett Kelly, Jr., the sad faced hobo clown known as the “Most Famous Clown in the World”.
As a portrait artist, she specializes in Native Americans, Cowboys, Victorian, Animals, Children, Old Cars,Houses, Barns, etc and most anything from the Old West.
She has worked with people from many tribes across the nation and experienced things that most white people only dream about! She has spent the most time around the Yakima, Sioux and ApacheNations, but also others.
She was the guest at the Zuni Pueblo in New, Mexico with the Sheshe family and they let her photograph their children at play and Mrs. Sheshe baking bread in the old beehive ovens.
She was the guest of the Godmother at a Sunrise Ceremony on the San Carlos Indian Reservation in Arizona and she cooked at the Longhouse in Celilo, Oregon for the Salmon Feast .
Patti Jo does portraits in pencil or acrylic from customers photographs and will do most any custom work.
