I am a photographer without a niche. While some would say that this is a bad thing, I feel that it is precisely the way to go with a hobby or career path in photography. The world is much too large to only focus on landscapes or animals or stock photography. I photograph because I see beautiful things around me and think, 'Maybe someone else would like to see this as well.' Life is my inspiration and my camera is my journal. My overall intent for my work would be self acceptance. I find myself constantly asking, 'Could it be better?' even when a photograph has gone through every step of processing and is sitting in front of me. As an artist in the future I can see myself starving but happy...It's a good thing I still have a day job.
