I spent 25 years in the printing and publishing industry, most of them with the great Mondadori in Italy. I had the privilege of working with many of the best British and American publishers to produce beautiful 'coffee table' art books. It was in Italy that I began to soak up the culture of art.
Whilst my day job involved the latest and best printing technology, in my spare time I was fascinated by the low-tech printing processes of block printing, etching and silk-screen printing.
I enjoy combining the old and the new, old technology with new, old styles with new. Much of my work combines digital techniques with etching, collagraphs, linocuts and monoprints.
