I love life, and treasure it each day, because I have come so very close to losing it, more times than I can count! That's not to say that I don't get grumpy, so I've chosen as this site's avatar the photo of me taken by my husband on my 60th birthday. It was a day I celebrated with joy because so many physicians said I would never live past the age of 40! It felt good to thumb my nose at all the doom-sayers! I have been married since 1975 to the most wonderful husband on the planet. He and I were given the gift of three sons, one of whom has been gifted with a beautiful daughter - our first (and so far, only) grandchild - and therefore is a blessing to us and for the world.
I strive to improve in all aspects of my life. I have come rather late to the world of photography and the art of 'self-promotion,' but as much as I find the latter distasteful, the former - the beautiful art of photography - is a great love. My highest and deepest love is for the Lord Jesus Christ, and I live, study and work each day on improving and enabling myself, day by day, to better reflect the Glory of God. Some days I'm more successful than others, in much the same way as my writer's blog, 'Reflections From a Cloudy Mirror' says, 'some days are cloudier than others.' I live and love by the Grace of God. My wish, my prayer for everyone is enough. . .
If you have seen other photos of mine on other websites that are not featured here on my Fine Art America website here yet, please contact me, and I will make certain that it gets posted as soon as possible. It sometimes takes me a while to get the photos I consider among my best posted right away, but eventually they will all get here. Thank you for your patience.
