Artist Statement:
My work is a vision of the southern Black experience reflected through vibrant bright hues and muted darks. Each painting tells a story by moving the viewer around and throughout various related shapes. My work integrates mix media; natural and tangible objects overlapped with rhythmic motions and streams of hues for an expressionistic type of genre painting.
