About Jim Hubbard

I am retired and live in The Villages located in central Florida. Been here for 13 years; before that I owned a gallery featuring my art, was a custom picture framer and taught acrylic art. About 20 years ago I fell in love with the magic of computers and as an artist I discovered Digital Art and 'Adobe Photoshop', the best known software to produce Digital Art.

My blog has been dormant for the past year. Now I have reactivated it. Present art pieces and some interesting happenings will be covered. So if that sort of thing is interesting to you take a peak.

January 29th, 2014

One of the questions I am asked continually by people seeing my drawings and paintings, " Your work is so detailed, how long did it take for you to do that painting or drawing?" I really never know the answer. I usually say something like, "Forty fi...
