Penelope's paintings and photography are a reflection of her passion for food, wine and joie de vivre. They are contemporary in style with an emphasis on color, mood and light. As a gourmet at heart immersed in Wine Country culture and influenced by her experience working in the fine dining restaurant industry, Penelope's culinary compositions offer unique insight into the world of food and wine.
Her inspiration begins with wine, food and friends at restaurants, wine bars, tasting rooms, wine cellars and around dinner tables. Through the use of rich color, dynamic perspective, intimate atmosphere and epicurean subject matter, Penelope's work conveys the essence of a bon vivant lifestyle.
Penelope earned her BFA in Painting from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. Penelope regularly exhibits her work at wineries throughout Sonoma and Napa Valley. Her paintings are in the permanent collections of the Staglin Family, Ehlers Estate, Benziger Family, Eric Ross Winery, Malibu Family Winery, Thomas Arvid, Robin Quivers, Danielle Steele, Carpe Diem Napa and St. Regis Buckhead. She resides in Napa Valley where her love and growing knowledge of wine continues to be a source of inspiration in her work.
