Phil Cappiali Jr

Born In Miami Florida in the 1960's and fortunate enough to have lived in the era where (and when) the past was still visible through automobiles and unpaved roads (although few and far between) my early memories were that of Beaches and mountain scenery on vacations in the Vista Cruiser.

My Mother, Father and 4 siblings shaped my own thoughts and interests with bias and in some cases confusion, which at the time made no sense, until I begin to look at the images that later caused me to stop my car on the way to work in an effort to capture what I saw perhaps once back then that to this day bring me home to my youth in my heart and mind.

I was a US Marine for 10 years, and had two other careers over the past 25 but none of those opportunities woke me up with the enthusiasm and feeling I get jumping out of bed at 4:30 am to catch the early light and the magic it possesses through the opening of a camera or skipping dinner to share the dawn with the chance of that one perfect shadow or ray of light that captures and holds the moment.
Currently I am in Tampa Florida with my camera to see what the viewfinder shares with me on this adventure.
