I am a self taught photographer who started photographing landscapes in western Alberta. As I grew to love capturing the beauty of nature, my passion fell towards capturing the beauty of rust, decay and the abandoned. I purchased my first SLR camera int the spring of 1998 and found my creative outlet. Until recently, I've only shared my art with those close to me. With their encouragement, I have decided to share it with those who appreciate photography as I do. As a resident of the interior of British Columbia, I am always on the hunt for old barns, abandoned homesteads, derelict factories and fallen churches. Landscapes and Sunsets that I encounter along the way are just the bonus while on my photographic adventures. I find a certain challenge in bringing life to the lifeless, remembering the forgotten and beauty to those who have been left to turn into dust. Every photo has a story. Every image has a tale. Every window has a view. Every house has a history.
