Pralhad Gurung is a multidisciplinary Himalayan base freelance artist.   He was born in small valley called Gopini, Chirang, Bhutan date May 5, 1985.   At age 6, he flee with his family to Bhutanese refugee camp Goldhap, Jhapa, Nepal and spent his childhood sharing/instructing fine arts for more then 1,000 children in 7 refugee camps and local surrounding by establishing a foundation/institution called Ifacans Foundation/Ifaca-Bhutan in the year 1994-2008.   In Spring 2008, he completed his BA study and he alone resettled in San Francisco Bay Area California in late Summer of same...more

In Spring 2008, he completed his BA study and he alone resettled in San Francisco Bay Area California in late Summer of same year. He started his first job in United States as a volunteer art teacher at Oakland International High School. In Spring 2010 he moved to Seattle for his BFA (Arts, Design/Film Media) study and he is a senior student at Cornish College of the Arts.

Being a native to the Himalayan, his works connects to Himalayas untouched forgotten tales and spiritual creatures and contemporary works related to poor/needy peoples, refugees, homeless and orphans.
