Many argue that photography is not truly an art. As a photographer, that statement is difficult to swallow. The more advanced technology becomes, and as digital cameras or even DSLRs become popular in every home, the line between just a photograph and a piece of art becomes even more blurred.
To me, art is something which goes beyond what you see and touches what you feel. This is what I strive to achieve through my photography: not a representation of what I saw, but what I felt in that moment. I hope to share those moments with others through my work -- telling a story, holding time still, instead of simply snapping a picture.
