Marily and Butch Renick have been collecting and appreciating art glass, particularly depression era glassware for many years. They have been happily married for 44 years and are both nearing retirement time. Butch spent 10 years in the Army back in the early 70's and has done everything from truck driving, tour bus operator for GrayLine of Seattle, business owner and even a stint as a TSA Agent. He has worked security on the Port of Tacoma for 8 years and now looks forward to retiring and doing some traveling. One of his first destinations will be Sedona, Az to experience the beauty of the southwest.
Marily has driven school bus for Issaquah S.D. for 25 years and STILL loves it. Living in the Tacoma area, she has driven all of those years to her job, over 25 miles each way. Some of the kids that she drove when she was first starting out are now putting their kids on her bus.
Marily enjoys doing her glass etching and has a creative eye for the right design on the right glass.
Both Marily and Butch hope that you enjoy their work and see something in one or more of their pieces that moves and inspires.
