Richard Brown was born on New York’s fabled lower East Side, at Mulberry and
Mott streets in 'Little Italy.' As he recalls, 'It was difficult in those days, to say the

computerized airbrush technique. 'I’m really hard on myself and, I suppose,
never really satisfied. I always try to make my next painting better than the
last; reaching out to the viewer with work that really stands out in our current
environment,' he adds.
