About my work: I take great pride in the fact that NONE OF MY IMAGES ARE DIGITALLY ALTERED, excluding standard brightness and contrast adjustments to the ENTIRE IMAGE. I do not amend images in any way that could not be done in a traditional darkroom. In addition, NONE OF MY WILDLIFE IMAGES INCLUDE ANY CAPTIVE ANIMALS. They are all wild and in their natural wilderness habitats. I will never publish an image of an animal in captivity and call it a 'wildlife' image, as I believe this to be a contradiction in terms. Since I sell my work in the 'photography' category, I adhere to the definition of photography as 'the art of capturing light on a light sensitive plate or sensor' and therefore do not alter the images after the light has been captured. If I choose to creatively enhance my scenes, I do this through the use of on-camera filters, creative flash and lighting techniques, etc, never in the computer.
