Ricklene Wren is a self taught artist who is originally from Michigan but has lived in Florida for 22 years. Having grown up in an artistic family, Ricklene drew much inspiration from her late Grandfather. Working with acrylics, Ricklene uses pallet knives as her choice tool and creates pieces full of texture and emotion. Her paintings often convey a mood that has been described as thought provoking and mysterious. Having done strictly commission work in the past, Ricklene is enjoying the freedom of painting subject matter that she chooses herself.
