Robert Anderson received a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Pratt Institute in 1972. He has taught college level drawing, painting and design and has been a contributing editor to a national art magazine. Anderson has produced instructional videotapes on photorealism and color theory, is the co-author of Art of the Dot and has been a Technical and Fine Art Consultant to Liquitex Art Products since 1990. Robert served as a city cultural commissioner and an advisor for the NJ Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. He is the recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the NJ State Council on the Arts. His recent PUPLP WESTERN, ANGELS & OUTLAWS and SIGNS & DIRECTIONS series combines elements of the old West with images of Hollywood cowboys, pin-ups and science fiction.
