I am an Australian freelance photographer and artist who has lived in Denmark since 1997. Photography has been a passion since I was about eight years old when I was given my mother's Kodak Box Brownie. It has become my living since 2005 after winning the Panasonic Batteries Amateur Photographer of the Year Award ( for Denmark) . Painting, like photography, has been a hobby since I was a young child. I see photography and painting as two sides of the same coin. For all that, painting can still take you places the camera cannot and vice versa.
Over the years I have sold art works and photographic prints in Australia, Denmark, England, Italy & USA. In 1993 I illustrated a children's book in Australia titled, 'I have been to Africa'.
Still Life
Every photograph is by its very nature a still life - tiny chunks of life freeze-framed in a millisecond - but the images in this little gallery fit more into the traditional concept of what is meant by 'still-life'.
