Roberto Bianchi

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Roberto Bianchi, I was born in Cibiana di Cadore, a small village in the Dolomites in October of the 1969. Since I was a child, I have always had an uncontrollable passion for drawing. After I finished my studies I dedicated myself fulltime to my love of art.
Life in my little village in the middle of the mountains, has inspired a lot of my passion, in fact my preferred subjects are the animals that live around me. My success grew, and I became know as a naturalist painter. Many newspapers and magazines have defined me as one of the more important painters of this sector.
I have never taken part in any art course, I am entirely self-taught. My works are exclusively oils on canvas.
In the recent years I devoted myself to painting subjects even more demanding, like African and Asia animals, or of the north America. I have received many positive comments that have given me a lot of satisfaction.
In the last ten years, I have partecipated in many exhibitions, most important of which are in the hunting sector, in Italy, Brescia EXA, and of foreign countries, Norinberga IWA, Salisburgo, Klagenfurt in Austria and others.
I have been invited on the television show called 'Season', hunting and fishing program of the Sky channel to speak about my works. Since March this year some my works, African fauna, have been exhibited in the prestigious gallery of Beretta Armi in Milan, Durini Street n.5.
Now I am trying to become know in others countries. In October 2008 and 2009 I was in Abu Dhabi (UAE) for the ADIHEX exibition.

Painting is not only my work and my passion, but also all my life.
