My early memory of art is of being ask to show my picture in front of the class when in early grade school. It was a small air plane coming towards the viewer. Very simple to draw and I liked teaching others how to draw it.
I actually went to Art College at about age 17.
An unquenchable desire for the truth came first though and so I ended up doing Christain social work on a voluntary basis.
Essentially spreading 'the word' up and down the East and west coast of Australia also around Tasmania.
From time to time I would have periods of art projects.
In resent years I have been doing art as a hobby and hopefully it will grow to be more. One encouraging thing is my brother has had a painting of mine on his lounge room wall for forty years.
He framed it himself and could 'see' something special in the picture from the very first. I had painted it in Exmouth WA after hitching up north at the age of 16-17.
My art has been varied in medium from acrylic mainly to pencil ,oil and computer practice.
The subject mater has mainly been imaginative mountain scapes or ocean, usually centred around the sun.(Sun scapes. Ha!)
I have been endeavouring to connect both myself and the viewer to the Lord.Attempting to transcend the physical world to the unseen spiritual world.
An effort to 'see god' and therefore hopefully a shared epiphany .
When I succeed it will only be by the grace of God.
