I got my first camera when I was around 7. It was one of those Kodak instamaticís that held a cartridge with 12 photos on it. I had a third grade school teacher that had an in home darkroom, she help me with a Cub Scout project there. I work for two years in a professional darkroom learning a lot and having more fun with film than anyone would believe. From that time on I just liked taking photos of about anything around. I really like using my old Pentex K-1000 35mm film cameras. It is just hard to find a shop to process them the way they should be so I have switched over to digital on the card. Having to learn a new way to photograph lightning with this but I will get it worked out. I prefer photographing what Mother Nature has given us, from birds, trees, animals, and weather related forms like lightning, tornados, and clouds structures. However if something is in front of me and draws my attention it is going to end up in my camera.
