Salim October created Foto Melange which was born out of interest in helping people to capture and share the beauty of their lives through pictures and to record things how they are seen. Salim believes that creating images is a mechanism for people to sustain memories and appreciate occurrences and time elapses. Providing these relived experiences creates an indelible mark in the minds people. Salim is trained in fine art and has a high school diploma in art and has worked on many photographic projects in Guyana and the Caribbean. more
