I've been a serious painter since 1985. Through the years I've experimented with different forms of expression. However, paint and canvas are my true loves.
My work ranges from whimsical fantasy pieces, to dark emotional work and on to the totally abstract. I use vibrant color, often combining paint with fabric, handmade papers and words.
Some of my art is inspired from my writings as I am a published novelist, poet and short story writer. At times my visual art and writing appear together. My novel DESCENT was published by a small press publishing house called Delirium books in 2005. It was a limited run of 100 copies which quickly sold out. Each book has an original pen and ink drawing bound within. I painted the cover art for my novel SETTLING IN NAZARETH. And I did the art (cover and interiors) for my Bram Stoker nominated poetry book BURIAL PLOT IN SAGITTARIUS. My art book PAINTING THE THIRD FATE was published two years ago as well. My short writings have also appeared in a gallery with my paintings.
