I've always enjoyed shooting all kinds of subjects from infants, weddings, brides, to old buildings and whatever else strikes my fancy. I was about 14 when I first got interested in photography. My first camera that I owned was a small Kodak that used the small square flash bulbs, and then I got to use the Polaroid Instamatic camera, after that I was hooked and I fell in love with taking photos. My first photographs that I started taking where photographs of my family, from school friends, children, horses, and family. However, I might have improved over the years, but not sure, but I hope so, but if not, I still love doing it.
I love to explore all sorts of beautiful places and I enjoy the challenge of photographing them in a way that others will respond to and enjoy. After falling in love with photography I started getting serious when I my children were small, but I got serious before I went to the Army at Ft. Jackson, SC, and I was living in Ft, Polk, Louisiana. I continued to take photographs when I moved to Ft. Worth, Texas. Then in 1991 I moved to Arizona and created new a life for my daughter and myself, so now weekends I would grab my camera, and I would snap anything and everything in sight. I graduated college in 1992 and on weekends I spent my time taking photographs, and reading what I could to learn more about photography. Even though I've been using a camera for many years now, I am no expert by no means, but I do love taking photos and creating great photographs.
The type of photographs that I enjoy taking are couples that have recently become engaged, weddings, newborns/infants, small children, windmills and barns (silly), old cars, new classic cars, horses, old wagons with character, dogs. I try to create different photographs that have never been taken before. I love to discover how light and nature interact to produce the most exquisite beautiful and masterful complexity we see around us every day. There are some of those photos that I captured are interesting since sometimes they are totally by accident. I don't like to use any sort of Photoshop programs. I think it takes a lot away from the photograph. I like to take simple photographs.
I now live in Tucson, Arizona and I am available to do weddings, engagements, or any other special event. I am not expensive since I am not a certified professional, so if you wish to have plain nice photographs I will be happy to help you with them. Most photographers are expensive because they are very experienced. I'm inexpensive which really helps young people who are on a budget or just starting out which helps them with their budget for their photographs, and I will give them shots that some people don't provide or just hasn't thought of them.
I will be very happy to sit down with you to see what would work for you and what your interested in. I can be reached if you're interested through this website, or you may email me at email@example.com. Then if you would like to speak to me then I will provide the phone number for a more personal conversation.
