Freelance Poet, Artist and Photographer. Strongheart’s early years were spent moving across much of the United States. In 1974 she returned to central Connecticut, her birthplace, where she currently resides. She began writing poetry to cope with the feelings that arise from the upheaval of a difficult home life; and in the process, developed a passion for expressing herself through the written word.
