A late bloomer my art evolved when my daughter brought me paints and canvas to keep me sitting after surgery.I am self taught, no professional training ,but art runs in my family my grandmother was an artist as is my daughter .I prefer acrylics ,but have been using oils more often now as i love the way they blend on the canvas .I have many commissioned paintings all across Canada ,,and,some in a local restaurant ..I have won a few FAA contest with my art...I find that my art comes from within and the process of creating lets me express myself in many ways ,I get my inspiration from the world around me as there is no artist as perfect as mother nature...Thanks to all who look at my art ..sharon
