Hello, I am a professional abstract artist that enjoys creating my paintings on plexiglass. Every painting is so fun to create because I don't know how it will look, until I flip the painting over and you see the finished look on the smooth 'glass like' shiny surface. The original paintings are mounted to a smaller wood frame on the reverse side, to allow the painting to sit on your wall with an offset of an inch and gives a beautiful contemporary floating look. In the past I was a glass bead lampwork artist, but have found painting on plexiglass to be a new passion for me.
I decided to paint on plexiglass because I love the glossy finish it renders and I loved the way it lends itself to abstract art. Thanks so much for taking the time to look at my work.
