I am drawn to color because of the richness of it in my Caribbean and Asian heritage. Painting provides with the opportunity to convey my thoughts and feelings.

The usages of bright saturated rich or muted chromas are what I gravitate to in my work. These colors remind me of traditional Caribbean and Asian costumes that are worn on various holidays, festivals, or carnivals.

By exploring hues and values, the paintings I create are an expression of rhythm, sensuality, and emotion.

I am a figurative and abstract painter and the medium I work in is oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and charcoal.

I am a graduate of California College of the Arts.
