I learned my love of art and crafting from my mom. Rug hooking, macramé, cross stitch, we tried it all while I was growing up. I took many art classes in college and graduate school, while earning degrees in Graphic Design, Biology, and Landscape Architecture. My favorite mediums to work in are Pen and Ink, watercolor, photography, and colored pencil.
My world changed in 2006 when I lost my 16-year-old daughter to suicide. All of my profits from the sale of original artwork are donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Thus far I have raised over $5000 and participated in their 18-mile Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk for 4 years in a row.
