I have drawn since I was three years old, making freehand renderings of newspaper cartoons, then doing patterns for my clothing I sewed. From there I was privileged to take classes in thread painting and I learned to design faces and animals by freehand applications on a sewing machine. I drew faces for hair cutting geometry-like mathematical records on index cards to keep a work recall for assisting those with their makeup and hair cutting.
