Silke Tyler started her journey as a photographer and painter in 1986 with the purchase of her first 35mm camera and watercolor paints during her studies in College.
“Creative expression through visual Art has always been part of me.
In my paintings and photography I strive to capture the spark that ignited in me to tell its story.
My goal is always to express the essence of the subject.
My mediums of choice are Watercolor with its flowing and transparent capability
and Acrylic which has similar qualities and allows for flexibility and exploration;
and in recent years I am enjoying creative photography with the use of modern editing tools,
which allow me to elevate a scene and paint it’s spirit.
I strive to express the beauty I see and feel
and hope to touch people with my work like the artists, whose works inspire me.”
