My life as a photographer began when I was 8 years old and given my first Kodak at Christmas. The year was 1961 and it was necessary to change each bulb individually when you used the flash. I was the kid jumping out of the station wagon to capture my Papa's oldsmobile driving through the Giant Redwood in Yosemite's Mariposa Grove. Born and raised in California, I am still loving and photographing the western USA. Today I shoot with a Nikon Digital and print with a HP B9180 archival pigment ink printer, creating waterproof photographs that last...I look to nature for analogies to express spiritual truth and celebrate natural beauty. My photographs are pleasant and soothing. My photographs are easily understood. My photographs require the universal language of the heart that unites all creatures. Dramatic and passionate, timeless and fresh, my photographs are Love personified.
