SOUTHWEST ARTISANS' COOPERATIVE ~ Bringing Together Artist and Community

Southwest Artisans' Cooperative (SAC) was founded and organized April 18, 2007 by Richard Hillman, Norma Sigretto, and Lessandra Grimley. All three artists live in the corner of the tri-state area of Arizona, Nevada and California. They opened an art gallery in Bullhead City, Arizona in July, 2007 with the help of eight fellow members. The co-op grew to twenty-one members, bringing a wonderful combination of talents - watercolor and oil painting, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, printmaking, gourds, fabric art and more. We have several artists who create beautiful, unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and each artist has his/her very own distinct style; with some using natural stones and metals, and others dichroic glass fusion. In July of '08 the art gallery closed due to the economy.

SAC will continue to have their website as well as the Southwest Artisans' Cooperative Annual Art Marketplace and will participate in other juried and nonjuried art shows in the Tristate Region. All events will be posted on our website as well as in the Fine Art America calendar of events. Check out FAA events for our latest upcoming show in October 2009.
