I know that art for me is a relaxation and a joy! Color, shapes, and space in which I put my subject become meaningful to myself and meaningful to others. I found great joy in my education where I earned a bacleor of art degree in Studio Art at the University of Maine. I graduated in 2008 at the Orono campus. Growing up in the state of Maine I observed many subjects that I sketched on paper and later painted on canvas.
My landscapes and portraits are real places and real people. I have the experience of people coming up to me and thanking me for putting my original paintings into prints and greeting cards. People buy my paintings, cards, and look forward to new pieces I am working on. They share their story of what my painting means to them, and the comfort it gives them each time they look at it. I share with them my process in putting the pain
