After completing her degree in Painting and Printmaking in the UK, Stephanie opted for a career in Marketing and Design Management. However, she never lost sight of her original passion and hoped to return to it full-time one day.
Having travelled all over the world, she now lives near the stunning Andalucian white village of Casares. Steph’s inspiration comes from the rugged beauty of the landscape, the intensity of the light and the stunning kaleidoscope of colours.
She is interested in working with surface texture, veils of colour and the contrast of subtlety and strength. Her work on canvas is largely abstract or loosely representational whilst her watercolours are more figurative in style. But whatever the medium, it is always clearly rooted in the beauty she sees around her.
