Steven Stern, California Paintings - Fine Art Gallery
Member Since: 08/22/2009
Mr. Steven Stern founded www.CaliforniaPaintings.com while a student at the University of California, Los Angeles (U.C.L.A). Looking for a more efficient way to deliver high quality paintings to discriminating art collectors, Mr. Stern developed the concept of fine art online at a fraction of retail prices. Understanding that time is an issue to many clients, Mr. Stern and his associates travel the world to provide private showings to clients who do not have the time to travel to our location in Beverly Hills, California. Furthermore, Mr. Stern or his associates frequently travel to meet our clients who wish to consign or sell their artwork. Mr. Stern states, 'I believe in the future of the internet and its exponential growth, however, I also believe in doing business face to face and meeting the people who choose to work with us. Doing business online is a wonderful tool; our business model proves that the internet does work when utilized correctly.'
Mr. Stern is also very active in the community supporting such groups as The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program, The City of Hope, The Pasadena Museum of California Art, Los Angeles Team Mentoring, The Guardians, Board of Governor's Cedars Sinai Hospital, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Friends of the Israel Museum. Furthermore, Mr. Stern sits on the Board of Directors for the Santa Monica Heritage Museum, is a member of The American Art Council at The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (L.A.C.M.A), and is a member of the President's Circle Avante-Garde Club at The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (L.A.C.M.A) and San Diego Historical Society.
