I honestly don’t have any awards or long lists of schools that I attended to speak of.
I could just make up a story that probably never be verified by people; however It is not my style to do so… So I have decided to just tell you who I am briefly and go on with my life…
I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea until I had an opportunity to attend a college in North Carolina. But as you all know how life turns as it wants to be… I got married and started family very soon. Now I am proud mother of two and they are the best things happened to me.
I really did not recognize that I had a talent and passion for painting until later on when I attended college again and took some art classes after kids are a little grown so that I can take some time for myself.
Throughout staying home and raising kids, i found Joy and passion for painting and it was growing like a wild fire within me. I attending art classes and some one on one art lessons but mostly I taught myself by just painting it.
Painting gave me another view of my life and abilities to look all my surroundings through beauty of art and it gave me the inspirations with positive direction for my life.
My painting and sketches started noticed by friends and families and words of mouth, I was getting more and more of commission works and gave me a hope and encouragement that maybe I can be a full time artist someday.
I am still working full time as a project planner to support me and my family and I only can paint limited time but I am very happy to know that I have a sense of direction for my life through painting and I am looking forward to devote myself to work in full time as an artist someday.
