I am originally from Kansas City, MO, which is where my passion for art was originally nurtured. I studied art and art history at Creighton University and earned my B.F.A. with a focus in painting. Throughout my college years I enjoyed traveling the globe and studying art in several different countries; these studies have played a part in the development of my own personal style. The subjects of my art range from realistic portraits to contemporary guitars and just about everything in between. I have tried impressionism, cubism, realism, abstract design, collages, etc. I find that I tend to gravitate towards ideas that are saturated with color and movement. My goal is to create an image that is vibrant yet true to form (what ever that form may be). I am always looking for new ways to incorporate my style into new subject matter in hopes of being able to maintain a variety of pieces in my portfolio.
